What should I do if someone asks me to pay outside of the Babaracine website?

Our recommendation is to never pay outside of BabaRacine's website. If you paid for your reservation outside of Babaracine such as a wire, Western Union, MoneyGram, cashier's check, money order, Liberty Reserve. money transfer or bank transfer, you may have paid for a fraudulent reservation. To get help, let us know immediately.

Note: Any reservations that are made outside of BabaRacine violate our Terms of Service. If we identify that a reservation was made through a third-party service, we may cancel the reservation and deactivate the accounts of the person who made the reservation.

What payment options do Babaracine accept?

We offer two types of payments as below to make it simple to our clients to find and book a place:

Full Payment from Babaracine platform

This is our us recommended payment as it assure your money is safe before your check-in date. Also, this also will give the host the insurance the booking is legitimate and confirmed. You can pay by credit card,

Partial Payment

Pay only small portion of booking cost to confirm the booking and pay the remaining at service location. As a guest, you can decide to pay only service fee and deposit amount as requested per host or service provider to ensure the reservation and pay the remaining at the service location at your check-in. To avoid any surprise please check with the service provide on type of accepted payment methods.

Some fees are paid in person

Most of the time, the entire cost of the reservation will be paid at the time of booking through the BabaRacine website. However, there are some occasions where you’ll pay other charges in person:

  • Additional fees: Some types of places, like hotels, charge additional fees for using their facilities. These include things like resort fees, security deposits, and cleaning fees.
  • Local occupancy tax: This is usually included in the cost of the reservation at the time of booking, but in some areas hosts are legally required to collect it in person instead. We ask hosts to communicate these additional charges before a guest books.

If a BabaRacine host on the BabaRacine site asks you to pay off site or through another company, report it to us.

Types of scams

Never share your email address before a booking is accepted or transfer funds outside the BabaRacine system, and always carefully examine emails claiming to be from BabaRacine.

Examples of common scams include:

  • Phishing Scam: Someone sends an email or link that looks like it's from BabaRacine or another trusted site.   • Travel Scam: Someone offers you a great deal on a listing if you pay or send a deposit using a wire transfer. After receiving your money, they don’t give you the reservation they advertised.
  • Overpayment Scam: Someone offers to pay a host more than the price of the reservation, and then asks the host to give them cash to cover the difference.
  • Third-party Booking Scam: Someone offers to reserve and pay for an BabaRacine listing through their third-party website or service, often claiming to have an BabaRacine coupon or discount. These reservations are typically paid for using stolen credit cards.
